How to get the Arabic letters to connect?

So I’m designing an arabic font, and I’ve done everything mentioned in the tutorial, but I can’t get the letters to get connected to each other after I export them.

How do you test? Are you using the Adobe Fonts folder?

What do you mean. Can you send a screenshot?

In Text view, when you try to write for example مرحبا,
the letters are disconnected and displayed from left to right: ا ب ح ر م

Is there an option somewhere that activates arabic support in Text view?

You need to switch to RTL mode. There are buttons for it in the lower right.

Where ? Can you take a screen shot ? I can’t find any RTL button

Switch between left to right, right to left, and top to bottom layout with the respective alignment buttons in the bottom right corner of the Edit View window.

Didn’t work :woman_facepalming:t2:

What application is this? Do other Arabic fonts work in this app?

It says Silhouette at the bottom of the canvas. From what I can tell, it’s an app for sheet-cutting machines that you can download for free. It’s nearly 400MB and I’m downloading for testing, but I get the feeling that no Arabic is supported.

Application that comes with the machine Silhouette cameo 3
