How to make an outline font

I’m trying to make an outline font like shown in the gif above.
Couldn’t find any tips in the forum.

Try the Offset Curve filter, consider applying it as Custom Parameter.

as I understood I have to enter the Property ‘Filter‘, but if I do so it is greyed out and doesn’t seem to be valid.

Are you entering it in Font Info > Instances?
