How to use Transform Metrics Filter without overriding Kernings?

I’m using a Filter in an Exports Instance do apply sidebearings.
Since they are consistent throughout the project, I thought it would be better to adjust kernings without spacings in the glyphs.

And everything seems to work fine when testing the font in the Text Preview.

Now the things is, when I export the font, the transformations seem to override all kernings…
If I export the font without the (Pre)Filter, the kernings are there (but no spacings, of course).
I also tried applying the transformations in a PreFilter, but I still get the same result.

How do I solve this? Am I doing this wrong here and I need to automate this differently?

I don’t understand what you are trying to do. Can you post some screenshots with the spacing in the edit view and the intended spacing after the transform filter?

Oh well, I realized now that this was just the cache not being busted. :man_facepalming: Never had cache issues until I decided to post this… I’m so sorry for the false alarm.
