I keep having problems with the font order.
No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to find the problem.
The fonts in question are being created as variable.
Most font menus are sorted by weight and width class. All the very thin instances have weight class 100. You need to split it. You can use smaller steps if you have so many instances.

When it’s exported as a variable font, the weight class doesn’t matter, does it?
Why do you style link all upright instances as Bold of themselves?

In applications where variable are not supported, weight classes are very important.
