I’m unable to open my glyphs mini 2 master file from 2020 in the new recommended update 2.1.9? what shall I do? can I redownload the older version?

Glyphs Mini quit unexpectedly.
on macos 10.14.6 mac pro (late 2013) don’t laugh!

the application just crashes… no error…
I just sent the glyphs master file to rainer… I can send to you too…

after I read the article georg mentioned… I installed the latest version of Python, restarted the mac, and now I’m able to open my glyphs file from 2020 in glyphs mini 2.1.9
