Importing .OTF file into Fontbook issue

Hello friends. Beginner here. I’ve finished a set of cliffs and exported them to an .OTF file. But when I try to add the .OTF file into FontBook, Fontbook doesn’t pick up the full set of glyphs from the .OTF file. Is this a Fontbook issue, or is there something I’m missing?

Okay, that worked great. I cleaned out the Mac cache, and all fonts appear and seem to work. Just one more question, maybe this is a Fontbook issue, but when I import the .OTF file, no matter what the name is of the .OTF file, Fontbook always names it New Font. Is there a solution to this? Thanks for any help.
