Installation Issue on PC Only

Hi there, a client has alerted me to an issue they are having when installing my font family on PC.

It appears the font name is changing on installation,

From “‘Font Name’ Bold” to “‘Font Name’ 400”

and they are also having issues with italics removing the italic label in the name, so…

‘Font Name’ Medium = ‘Font Name’ Medium
‘Font Name’ Medium Italic = ‘Font Name’ Medium

I’ve had a look at my files and all seems to be in order.

Any clues?

That sounds like the style bits aren’t correctly set – meaning your style linking isn’t correctly defined in Glyphs.

Did you export all fonts under the same family name and set up style linking with the Bold checkbox? Same goes for Italic.
