When you are interpolating two masters in Glyphs and they have a Metrics Machine based kern feature pasted in and both masters have exceptions, but not exactly the same ones, do the child files all take on all the exceptions in both parent files or do you instead need to ensure that the pattern of exceptions in all masters are parallel to avoid problems?
A kern feature can’t be interpolated at all. You need to import the kerning that it shows up in the Kerning panel. On export it will interpolate the exceptions with the normal values from the other master.
