Is it possible to open Postscript Type 1 outline font with Glyphs mini and then save it as an .OTF file?
With the Mavericks update I had a problem in the studio where I work. I can’t open our old “Postscript Type 1 outline font” files. But I’ve tried at home to convert them to .otf (with my licensed Glyphs) and it worked.
I proposed them to buy the Glyphs mini version, not only to fix this problem, but also to have a powerful tool to design letters for a great price.
Is it a good recommendation? Using the Glyphs mini to convert the font to .otf?
P.S.: I’ve searched for other ways to convert but they didn’t work well. Or they weren’t as easy as in Glyphs.
