Issue with font weight display in the exported font

When I export my font, I set it to the Black weight in all of its settings, and it is a single-weight, single-style font. However, when I export it, the font shows up as Regular, and it is labeled as Regular. Could you please guide me on what I should do to fix this?

  • Where (in which app on which OS) does it show up as Regular?
  • Which settings do you have in File > Font Info > Exports?
  • Did you set up an export instance? Without any instance set up, it will export as Regular by default.

  • There is nothing there in that path.
  • No, I haven’t defined one, because the font has only a single weight.

By adding the weight in the Export section, the issue was resolved and I was able to get the correct output according to the weight. Thank you for your guidance.
