When I export the kerning pair LA behaves correctly. Until certain other letters appear after the A. For example, in FontGoggles (also Adobe ai and ind), type LA and it looks fine, LAP is fine, however type LAS and suddenly the A jumps back into the L. Same also happens with trigram LAD, the L jumps back.
The kerning groups in Glyphs are set up correctly. In the kerning panel everything is compressed, no open locks.
What am I doing wrong?
Did you add the kerning in RTL mode?
That’s it! Somehow some RTL kerning snuck in there.
I removed it and the problem is fixed
