if you deactivate export for all glyphs of a script shouldn’t the auto generated Languagesystems be able to understand that and remove the script and language tags accordingly? It seems that it’s not doing it in Glyphs 2.4.2 (1057)
CMIIW but I think if no feature code is registered under a specific language, the superfluous language system does not make a difference for the compiled OTF. Not on my Mac now, so I cannot verify.
I was just updating the features after I deactivated the scripts and I started from the top, with the Languagesystem first. When I removed all the entries that featured any mention of the removed script from the features it did generate the Languagesystem properly. Just letting you know.
