I’ve been working on certain masters in a font, and a colleague will be working on the other masters. So that we don’t accidentally change the wrong masters, is there a way to lock the masters that are finalised, instead of locking all the masters of a glyph?
That is currently not possible.
Ok thanks. Keeping fingers crossed for a future version of Glyphs
In the meantime you could add a Custom Parameter > Master Color
& Master Stroke Color
and make those burning red or something that sticks out to you. At least when working solo, this helps me to remind me: don’t touch this. In a collab it might be a bit less useful, as you need 2 colors and your or their color will always be need to be ignored

Thanks Mark, that’s a nice idea

Sounds like a plugin to me. Change the background color of the Edit View for certain masters?
I came here also to suggest the “lock master” feature. Glad that someone already did it. (I also use the Background Color Parameter, but sometimes I’m just dumb =P)
