Make a variable font with a monoline font with effects?

Hello !
Little question : Is it possible to make a variable font with a monoline font with effects ?
I followed this tutorial and tried to make a variable font only by varying the numbers of the effect I used (increasing or decreasing the effect). But unfortunately I didn’t get the expected result (the first three are the desired results, the last is the result of the font variable).

The effects on the instances are not applied when exporting a variable font.
