I have created base glyphs and accents with anchors, but when I try to make component glyph the diacritic is not in the right place. You can see in the image that it should be but it isn’t. The sidebearings aren’t set to auto either.
You may want to check if the components are placed in the correct order.
Go to Filter > Fix Compatibility, then make sure your base glyph (A) comes first.
The A is first.
Then you might want to double check that you have an anchor on the diacritic labeled “_top”.
Lastly, you may have to right-click on each component and Enable Automatic Alignment.

Disable automatic alignment was ticked in Font Info. That sorted it, thanks for your help Matt.
