Hi
I have a font with 2 masters ExtraLight and Black
I have 6 instances ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Black
I would like to create a Regular Master.
Is it possible to create a Regular Master from the Regular Instance.
It should be an option with the + button in the Exports tab (in Glyphs 3) of Font Info: “Instance as Master”.
There’s probably a good case to be made that that function should instead appear in the Masters tab, since it’s really a master you’re trying to +!
But putting it into the masters tab would need an instance selection UI, where there is one in the Exports tab already.
