I’m using Glyphs Version 2.4.2 (1029) on OS 10.12.5 and the manual image cropping shortcut (Ctrl+Alt) does not work in a reliable or consistent manner. Is this a beta issue? Holding Ctrl+Alt and manipulating the image warps it instead of cropping, but this behavior seems inconsistent. Thoughts?
Ok more investigating shows that this is a Wacom bug, if I use the trackpad the cropping works as expected. Manipulating with my stylus does not work ¯_(ツ)_/¯ This behavior is consistent between the cutting edge version and the non-beta version. I know Georg is aware of Wacom interaction bugs add this to the list I suppose.
Do you have the latest Wacom driver? It fixed some of the issues.
I do! 6.3.22-3
Adding more notes about Wacom interaction here: In the Font tab if I select multiple glyphs and then hold to deselect a single glyph, it won’t let me. The glyph flashes as if I’ve double-clicked it. My hunch is that Glyphs is interpreting a single stylus click as a double click.
