Master vs Instances: My attempt at a font with 4 weights

I’ve read the handbook and some forum posts and I still consider myself daft because I am not quite grasping the concept of Master vs Instances. I’m creating my first font and would like it to have 4 weights: Light, Regular, Bold, Black. It’s a simple display typeface, all-caps no italics.

What would be the correct way to set this font up so that it exports correctly? Thanks :slight_smile:

That definitely helped, thank you. For some reason I just wasn’t grasping the concept from the hand book.
