Masters icon selector bug

click on weight icon (little n in hte corner)
click desired n. (menu remains visible)
click on another master in the sidebar.
the click n is now assigned to the master u click on
not the one u intented to.

needs to update the current icon as u click on the desired n and assign it to the active master.

btw whats the searchbox supposed to do?

I assume you are talking about Font Info > Masters?
By searchbox, you mean the text field that says glyph name?

It is not a search field, it lets you type a glyph name, and the associated glyph will be used in the buttons instead of the default ‘n’.

Yes. This popup needs some refinement.

I just realised that the search box is not doing anything. Is that a bug? Version 2.6.1 (1230)

Still the case in 1240?

(Go to Glyphs > Preferences > Updates, activate both checkboxes and press the Update button.)

The glyph choice box is doing nothing for me with 1245.

Getting a similar problem in [3112]:

  • Clicking the desired «n» still doesn’t close the popup.
  • Clicking appears to assign the correct «n» to the master, but restarting Glyphs resets it to the wrong «n» from before.

Middle one should be regular:

This is as intended. You need to click somewhere else to confirm the change.

Have you closed the popup and saved the file before restarting? If so, could you send me that file?

Why would you require the user to spend an extra action? It’s not like there are several things one might want to do with a selected icon.
