When I have several windows open and all have something in the search field, if I change the setting for the type of search to or from Regex, it looks like that same choice is applied to all the windows (judging from the popup menu). However, the results in the main pane are not updated with that change in those other windows.
Hope that makes sense. Essentially I’m arguing if the search mode change applies to all windows, the change in results should appear in all windows when the change is made. Alternatively, the change to or from regex should only apply to the window in which it is made.
