Missing SVG layer in composite glyphs after export?

To bypass Word’s bug with COLR/CPAL table, I export the otf and ttf only with the SVG table parameters. And I export in COLR/CPAL the woff2 since browser support that well.

Now. I was finding it convenient that with the COLR export, I don’t need to add color layers into composites glyphs (such as é è ë), but in SVG only, it seem that I have to. The glyph remains black otherwise. Is it something that Glyphs should actually handle at export or is it expected to add all the layers in composites glyphs?

Note: reporting because the svg layer in composite glyphs is added automatically at export if the export in COLR/CPAL is checked as well. So Glyphs should be able to add a svg layer in composite glyphs also if COLR export is unchecked.

I just tried it a for me, the composite glyphs inherit the color layers in the svg, too. What version of Glyphs do you use?

The last beta. Do you use a color palette and did you try adding the export COLR table parameter and uncheck it?

Indeed. That parameter prevents the colors in components. I fixed it.
