Hi,
I just upgraded to Glyphs 3. When exporting .ttfs I’m getting name table entries like this:
ID 1: Example Sans Medium (full font name)
ID 2: Regular (same style name for all weights)
Whereas it should be:
ID 1: Example Sans (family name)
ID 2: Medium (style name)
I have not set any custom parameters. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for you help!
Glyphs 3 uses name ID 16 and 17 to store “Example Sans” and “Medium”, respectively.

No. Why do you think this is what it should be?
IDs 1 and 2 are for RIBBI families of a maximum of four fonts only. See the Naming tutorial or the OT spec.
Apologies, I misunderstood the naming conventions. I thought since ID 1 is described as ‘Font Family name’, it should contain the name of the font family. But I understand it now.
