Hello, I found that using the Name Table Entry custom parameter with specifying just the nameID for a variable font setting results in the encoding and the language ID being set to the 16-bit maxint (65535), instead of 1 and 1033.
Specifying nameID, platformID, encodingID and languageID works.
So, in short, this doesn’t work: 1; Myfont Variable
But this works: 1 3 1 1033; Myfont Variable
