I’m drawing a set of characters that will need subtle stylistic alternates for a few characters. I don’t want to generate .ss01 's though, and would like to just have two separate fonts - regular + display. I’ve set up two masters and two instances (from masters) for ease and speed (rather than switching between two different font files). Is there a way to turn off the outline compatibility warning?
Yes. Add a “Enforce Compatibility Check” in the fonts custom parameters and uncheck it.
