Noodler – Keep Overlaps Issue

I try to keep overlaps when using Noodler, but unchecking “Remove overlaps“ creates funny outlines. I get the same result when using the filter and when using it as a custom parameter.
Maybe I’m missing something?

Can you show the outlines before you applied the filter?

It puts circles at the end of the expansions and then applies the round filter. So I suppose the keep overlaps option doesn’t help you much with this design.

Below are the outlines before the filter. Just four straight lines. The funny outlines happen (when keeping overlaps) at every thickness and also with diagonal lines.
Yes, it looks like it adds a circle at the end of each line and then applies the filter again to the remaining section.

You don’t need the Noodler for this. Use the Offset Curve filter. You can run it on export, too and it doesn’t need to remove overlap.

Oh, how did I miss that? Thanks!

Haven’t touched the algorithm for noodler in a long time, but I’ll see if I can make it a little better, so the circles are not separate.
