I’m trying to draw a skeleton for a font and then apply the “Offset Curves” filter. However, the ends of the strokes are coming out straight, and I want them to follow the direction of the original stroke. It’s odd because the first end has the same result as the last one.
As a general courtesy to future visitors from Google, please never just write “I fixed it” – tell people how you fixed it and what was wrong. There’s nothing so frustrating as Googling a problem and finally finding someone who describes your exact problem, only for the question to be closed with a simple “I fixed it” message.
In this case, I assume it was simply that you had selected the straight ends (second button from the left in the list right above the ‘OK/Cancel’ buttons) instead of the rounded ends (third button).
Yes sorry, it was an issue that I created myself, I was working on a font with a low UPM value so the points were going to the nearest point they can and in this precise case they were going straight. So there was no bug, I just needed to subdivise the grid.
