The computer is new and so is InDesign. Opening an InDesign-file from 2022 gives a message ‘fonts missing’. (The preview in InDesign looks OK, but text cannot be edited.) I opened a missing font in Glyphs, saved it with a ‘1’ added in the name and exported it. After installing the font InDesign still is missing the font and I cannot replace it because somehow the exported font still has the old name. How to fix this?
Sounds like a font conflict. You can find out which font is loaded in the Type > Replace Fonts dialog; it has a button for revealing the selected font in Finder.
