Oldstyle currency symbols naming

Hi, I’ve designed monetary symbols and other glyphs that proportionally match my oldstyle figures. Currently I’ve given them an .osf suffix which I don’t think covers these glyphs.

Matching symbols isn’t that unusual, so what is the most common convention for including them in a feature?

Thanks

.osf seems alright to me.

Thanks. The only issue is that these Glyphs don’t get picked automatically up by InDesign or Illustrator when you select Proportional Oldstyle in the Opentype menu. Do I I need to add further feature code for this to happen?

Merry Christmas!

Did you update the feature code in font info?

Ah, of course. The feature code was missing for the currency glyphs and worked perfectly on update. Thank you.

For future reference, does the feature code apply to any glyph with the .osf suffix?

Thanks again.

Does it not for you? Please report if it is failing.

This seems to be working fine. Thanks very much
