Hello, I’m using Glyphs 3.3 (3321) on MacOS 15.0.
I’m designing a vertical writing font with a different height (H) for each glyph.
When writing text in the Edit view set to the vertical mode, some glyphs overlap even if both are within their own bounding boxes.
I want to know how I can fix this problem.

I’ll have a look. In most CJK fonts I’v seen, They have ascender=800 descender=-200. That is what Glyphs kind of expects. I’ll see if I can fix this.
The overlapping issue still happens even after changing the metrics to what you’ve said.
Is there any workaround method currently available?

(After I wrote this question, I found the solution for this.)
In my case, I had set a metrics value like “Ascender/han” separately from the normal metrics. These different values may have caused the problem. After I deleted the “Ascender/han” metrics, the vertical viewer returned to normal.
