Hi there, I just wanted to ask if - 2 overlaping nodes in design can cause any problem and you don’t recommend it, or it’s 100% safe. Same question, more important for me is if - Handle with zero length is placed on top of the node (also overlaping) can be problem or it’s OK to design like that. Thx
Such overlaps are only needed for variable fonts. Otherwise, it’s best to avoid them.

Note that in variable fonts each of them get independent rounding between masters, so there might be small 1 unit offsets resulting in things like that:
