Overwrite Family Name on exports

Hello there,

I am currently working on a project that I have developed inside one single Glyphs file. this file contains both Display and Text masters that I would like to keep in this single file.

The point is that I agreed with the client that I will deliver “Custom Type Display” and “Custom Type Text” as separated subfamilies so these will be the name ID 1 in the name table, for instance.

As said, due to the workflow I would like to keep using one single file and change the Family Name on export. I thought this could be a Custom Parameter assignable to exrpots but is this even possible? What would you recommend me to do in this scenario?

Use the parameter “Localized Family Name” (not custom parameter, general instance parameter). It’s the one selected by default.
