Hi guys

I am new to Glyphs. I am designing an English/Arabic font on mac.
I exported my font as .ttf but when i used it in Illustrator it is behaving like the attachment. I am not sure why the cursor selection/movement seems to go below the text see here https://www.imghippo.com/i/vvF7583.jpeg see here https://www.imghippo.com/i/FBE6639lSM.jpeg . In Glyphs 3 it seemed ok light blue selection see here . Can anyone guide me to fix this please?

It looks like baseline offset settings in the Illustrator character palette, could it be?
