Preview panel does not show interpolations

Working with the current version (3260) in a two-master setup.

Since I have added two (additional) virtual masters the preview panel (the one at the bottom of the edit view) does not show interpolations anymore, irrespective of whether the masters are compatible or if the glyph shown actually has additional layers for the virtual masters.

I have tried to disable the virtual masters and to remove them, but to no avail. I have also tried starting without plugins but that didn’t help either.

Any pointers would be appreciated, thanks!

I was able to resolve this with the following steps:

  • removed all the instances
  • added new instances for all masters
  • defined new interpolated instances
    (did not resolve it yet)
  • reverted to last save
    (resolved!)

go figure

When the interpolation is stuck, saving, closing and re-opening the file helps, sometimes.
