Problem with Masters/Layers

thanks in advance

I am working in three layers (masters). This is my first attempt to create a variable font

Using the existing medium to create the light and heavy master. All exporting ok as variable font but half way through have run into a problem.

see the screen shot.

essentially when editing a glyph such as N, I can see K, D and other letters beneath

when editing c, i can see o beneath.

I can’t work out what is causing this…

You seem to have accidentally activated “Show Group Members” in the view menu.
