we have a 4-master file and only 2 masters need kerning. We ran the Zero Kerner macro, but it does not add the equivalent amount of zero kern pairs to the other masters.
We can’t see why. Any idea?
Please help! We can’t generate the variable font otherwise.

I think I got it. Zero Kerner only adds zero kerns for group-group kernings, not exceptions. And that includes glyph-glyph, glyph-group and group-glyph kernings. And there are exactly 246 group-group kernings in every master after Zero Kerner has run.
