Problems with diacritics

Hello Glyphs-Team!

I just wanted to make my diacritics like shown in the tutorial video, but it doesn’t work out for me.

  1. When I add the ä (adieresis) glyphs adds an empty glyph with an standard ä in the background. Without my selfmade a and without the dieresis as a component.

  2. When I insert my a into the ä and add the dieresis as a component I cannot use the anchor even when I set one in the dieresis.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to add the a and the dieresis in the order as components. Add the anchor to the a and to the dieresis.
