Question (or suggestion): Can I use a glyph as a background for another glyph?

Is it possible (in Glyphs Mini) to use an existing glyph in the background layer?

I do realise that it is possible to copy and paste any existing vectors into the background layer, but that’s not quite what I want to do. I’d like to be able to have my background layer automatically update as I make further edits to that background glyph.

For example, now I’m working on the numbers ‘5’ and ‘6’, and I’d like to be able to place each of those in the background for the other so I can continue to refine my design and keep these two numbers in harmony.

What you want is called a component. Instead of pasting vectors, add a component into the background.

OMG, perfect! I feel stupid now, but thank you so much!
