Retain preview when editing

Hi there,

I’m working on a pixel font and I would like to retain the preview shown when first editing a glyph so I can trace over. As soon as I start editing it disappears. Is it possible to keep it in the background? I can’t seem to find any option to do this or figure out the correct term to search for. Preview and background are very ambiguous in this context.

You can either manually place an image in the background and trace over that or use the Show Character plugin from the Plugin Manager.
