Hi
If in Rlig
or Rclt
I write sub @Number asterisk' @Number by multiply;
It’s okay in glyphs, but when I export the font, it works only when the paragraph is left to right.
In which app are you testing?
As a side note, this kind of substitution is generally not a good idea. Sometimes a user wants to type 5*5 and it must appear exactly as typed, not as 5×5. If you still want to offer such substitutions, it’s best to put them in a feature that is disabled by default.

Now I am unsure myself. It works well in FontGoggles, but fails in Google Chrome. Maybe someone else knows where this difference comes from.
Chrome has doesn’t apply features between different unicode categories. I fielded a report: Chromium And even through it works everywhere else they will not fix it. Maybe you can comment to show that it is needed.
What about Adobe apps?
How can I change asterisk to multiply between numbers?
Your code is correct. that is how you do it. It should work in most places.
The way Adobe programs work with fonts is so ridiculous.
Asterisk for multiply sign? Don’t do this substitution, please. This is not the job of the font, but of the input method.
