Round Corner Component acting weird

Corner components (Reg 14 units > Black 18 units) render way too sharp in the instances inbeween. Making them identical (radius of 16) does not help.
How can I prevent this without decomposiong the affected glpyhs?

I was suspecting this. Check the scaling of the corners. e.g. the bottom left corner in the “A” is 150%/150% in the Regular and -150%/150% in the Bold.

There are some scripts in the mekkablue scripts that help identifying and fixing these kinds of oversights. There’s one called Propagate Corner Components, I think, which is very useful.
