I’ve come across a few, some seeming more complex or some out of date. Curious if there are any currently recommended scripts that others like/use?
What do you mean by batch setting metrics keys?
Have you tried Metrics Key Manager? It is in mekkablue scripts under Spacing.
might be jumbling my words a bit… basically something that determines (or has pre-determined) metric keys and applies them to the whole master (versus inputting manually on my own, which is fine). Plan to check and edit them as needed.
I did give a quick test, but didn’t dive in. Maybe will spend more time with it. Looking again, that might be the best tool right now.
think i had in mind something for sidebearing keys that was as simple as ‘mekkablue > kerning > set kerning groups’ script. quick and no settings to pre-configure (but needs reviewed and tweaked accordingly). just gives a good overall start.

it is an old script of mine. It is has some heuristics and a predefined list.
don’t think I have. thanks Georg, will check it out. (I saw another script that appeared similar, but iirc, was 11 years old and for Glyphs 2.)
