Selecting a line segment

Sorry if this is obvious, but i can’t see any info on how to select just a part of a shape other than selecting the individual nodes. In Fontlab the key is Shift and click on segment. I use this all the time.

I know that a double-click selects the whole path. So i am assuming that there is something for just a segment?

This is currently not possible. The last time I tried to implement it, it conflicted with the segment dragging.
I’ll give it another try.
