Am I correct that there is no keyboard shortcut to activate/deactivate opentype features? Now that I’m typing it out I’m realizing since there’s a potentially unlimited amount of features.
My use case is: during kerning it would be useful to be able to toggle between alternate forms with a shortcut, is there any other way to achieve this?
Have you tried the script: mekkablue > Floating Features?
It opens a window with all the font’s features as checkboxes. It stays on top and open. Not a shortcut for all features, but works well. I think adding shortcuts for each feature is not a good idea, as you’d quickly run out of possible keystrokes.
