I regularly experience a “crash” notice whenever I attempt to access the background layer of Glyphs (see images).
I’ve experienced this with two different plugins: 1) Fill Background Path by Mark Monroy and 2) Show All Backgrounds by mekkablue and I’m curious as to know if anyone else is experiencing this similar issue?
For what it’s worth, I’m using the following:
Glyphs 3 build 3260
MacBook Air, M3 Chip, OS 14.5 Sonoma
I fixed that and send a pull request. But it isn’t merged, yet.
Yikes. It is possible to just amend the plugin locally in my copy?
You could manually clone the version from my repo (check the pull request on the original repo to get the details).

I might just use the other plugin:( It’s a shame cos it worked beautifully previously
Can you show the full error dialog again.
Try the latest beta please. Go to Glyphs > Preferences > Updates, activate both checkboxes and press the Update button.
