Something changed with "Re-Interpolate"?

Hello, using “Re-Interpolate” now results in wrong interpolations, as far as I can tell.

I am finding similar rounding errors (?) in other glyphs where the interpolation used to work fine. Note that the x coordinate difference of the left terminal is 3 units, which is far too much for it to appear a rounding error.

Can you send me the file?

What appears to be happening is that my Italic masters are also taken into account, for whatever reason.

If I remove the outlines in my Italic masters, which makes the glyph incompatible of course, I cannot use Re-Interpolate on my Roman masters anymore.

Previously, I was able to re-interpolate (for example) a Regular master from Thin and Black, even if the italic masters were empty/incompatible.

The glyph has smart glyph settings. Those are interfering with the interpolation. I’ll need to have a look but it might need bigger changes to fix this.

Ah, I hadn’t realised that. That make sense, at least I can “fix” it for my purposes. Thanks a lot!
