Spacing between words/ Punctuation

Hello,

I have adjusted the kerning of letter pairs but when I press the spacebar for space in between words, the gap is quite large. How do I adjust it to make it smaller? Do I just change the number under the H character in the grey box?

Also-- not related to spacing but when I exported everything, only some of my punctuation showed up, like the ! and @ did but not my & or my + -

Is there a reason only some did?

You need to reduce the size of the space glyph. You do that by editing said number under the ‘H’.
