In 1097, adjusting LSB with ⌃+← or ⌃+→ doesn’t work for me. but ⌃+⇧+← and ⌃+⇧+→ does (10 units at a time)

Adjusting RSB and kerning are working as expected

Did you disable the System wide “Mission control” shortcuts?
