Speed Punk / Glyphs crashed

There are still crashes unfortunately (just reported again)

Can you try to remove all other plugins except if speed punk?

Hi, I am having the same issue on an M1 Mac. My version of Glyphs is up to date and I have Python 3.9.7. I attempted the solution provided by mekkablue and that did not change anything.

Thanks,
Cole

Have you properly deinstalled/reinstalled the plugins?

Yes, from the plugin manager.

I fixed my problem after much trial and error; I had Python 3.9.7 installed and switched to 3.9.1. This is on Glyphsapp 3.0.3 (3091). Speed punk is now working for me on my M1.

Thanks! This helped me get Speed Punk working

Hi, I’m having the same issue with Speedpunk.
I tried everything above and it’s still happening. I’m already on Python 3.9.1
It was working fine until a few days. Any idea how to fix it?
@yanone maybe?

Can you try the objC version of the plugin. You need to remove the plugin from the Plugin Manager and manually install it from this repo: GitHub - yanone/speedpunk at ObjectiveC
I rewrote the plugin to increase performance and avoid the problems with the python versions. As far as I can see m those problems are not directly caused by speedpunk but from conflicts with other plugins that are super difficult to debug.

Thanks! It’s working fine, I’ve been using it for 30 minutes and no crash

The ObjectiveC version has not all features of the python versions. Are you missing anything?
