Is a stroke on component a possibility?
Alternatively, is it possible to maintain the weight of the stroke on a scaled down component?

I don’t understand the intended use case, but I imagine you want something like LetterInk?
I don’t think that Letterink will help here. I plan to support strokes on components but it will take some time.
The usage would be to, for example, make a.sc have a weight similar to A, although being a scaled down version of the same component. I know several other ways of achieving this, but in this case I wanted to know if it was possible through stroke, in any way.
Thanks for the tip, that tool looks very useful! I’m getting that.
Cool. Yeah, and I could imagine that causing some bugs.
I was thinking if there were any solution I had missed, but I guess not then. Thanks!
did this ever become a thing? was just thinking the same when creating circled numbers!
Not yet. You can stroke a path and use that as a component.
would be a great feature to build .sc .dnom and whatnot in a non destructive way!
How do you want to use strokes to build those? Do you use RMX tools? That is definitely the best method you can use to build .dnom/.sc figures.
Or make your component a smart component. See the samples in the 3.4 release notes in the News section.
