Does anyone know how to reverse this?
When I have the text tool selected, I type backwards, as in, if i type ‘glyph’. it spells ‘hpylg’.
the arrows keys also are reversed.
I’m guessing this is an option for alphabets that type right to left?

Look at the icons toward the bottom right of the window. You likely pressed the right-to-left writing direction icon (that looks like right-justified lines). Select the one to the left of it (that has lines left aligned and is to the right of the To kerning icon).
The icons are also shown in section 3.8.3 Writing Direction of the Glyphs 2.3 Handbook.
